We don't take team photos, we make team photos!
No more waiting for all the players to be present for the team photo! We take individual photos of each player then composite them together to create an epic team photo!
But our pitcher had a dentist appoint on photo day! No problem have them schedule a time to get photographed and they can be added to the team photo!

When and how can we expect our photos to arrive?
After photo day, we edit and composite the images and share them via private online galleries. Turnaround is fast, we pride ourselves on a quick delivery so your athletes can enjoy their photos as soon as possible. Photos ship to your home via USPS 2-3 weeks after photo day. Digitals are shared via email 7-10 days after photo day. Banners ship via Fedex and arrive separate from your photos 7-10days after photo day. Blankets ship via UPS or Fedex and take 2-3weeks to arrive after photo day..

We are local photographers serving Colorado and located in Douglas County. We'd love to hear about your specific location — reach out and we'll let you know if we can accommodate you.
How do I book Elevate Snaps?
Simply visit our Check Availability page at elevatesnaps.com, fill out the contact form, or call us at 877-400-1125. We'll hop on a quick call to understand your needs, walk you through our process, and answer all your questions before we take a deposit and lock in a date.
How do session deposits work?
Deposits are non-refundable and hold your spot on our calendar.
What if I change/cancel my session?
We are flexible, but if you reschedule more than 3 times, your deposit is gone and you will have to submit another deposit for a session to happen.
How far in advance should I book my session?
We recommend booking as early as possible, popular dates fill up fast! We currently have limited spots available for 2026, so don't wait. Reach out today to secure your date.
What are your most popular dates?
April-May and July-October
What if my player misses photo day?
No problem! Because we photograph each athlete individually and composite the team photo, a player who missed the original session can schedule a makeup time to be photographed separately and still be added to the final team image. *Makeup sessions require a session fee $15 and photo package purchase of $25 or more. How do you handle student and player data?
Children's privacy is our top priority. We do not sell or share any student data with third parties. Ever. You can trust us to handle your school's photo day with the same care and responsibility you'd expect from your own staff.
What type of school photography do you offer?
We offer individual student portraits, class photos, yearbook images, school IDs, and Pre-K photography. We handle everything from arrival to image delivery, making photo day as smooth and stress-free as possible for your front office staff.
How do you get genuine smiles from the kids?
We hire what we call "Ninjas" energetic, detail-oriented photographers who are skilled at connecting with children quickly to draw out genuine, natural smiles. This means fewer retakes and happier parents when photos come home.
About Us
At Elevate Snaps, we're more than photographers, we're educators, parents, and people who genuinely care about creating a great experience for schools, students, and families. Owner Michael Nelson is a father of two, a former school teacher, and an entrepreneur who has spent years serving schools and youth organizations through photography. When he's not behind the camera, you'll often find him tackling American Ninja Warrior-style obstacle courses for fun. Michael's background in education gives him a firsthand understanding of the challenges schools face and the importance of organization, communication, and making every student feel valued.
Alongside Michael is Andy Dunn, a father of two, former school teacher, and holder of a Master's Degree in Photography. Andy combines technical excellence with an educator's heart, helping ensure every photo day runs smoothly while maintaining the highest standards of quality. Together, Michael and Andy understand the realities of school life because they've lived them.
Rounding out the team is Maddy Warn, whose positive energy is contagious. With a degree in Broadcast Media and a natural ability to connect with children, Maddy helps students feel comfortable, confident, and excited in front of the camera. Her enthusiasm and warmth often turn nervous smiles into genuine ones, helping us capture authentic moments that families treasure.
As former educators and parents ourselves, we understand that school photography is about more than pictures, it's about creating a positive experience for students, making life easier for school staff, and preserving memories that last a lifetime.
